A PFD (Personal Floatation Device) is required for all of our paddles. Do you have your own PFD or have acces to one?

Yes

Please tell us a little about your previous kayaking experience. It's okay if you don't have a lot of experience.

Novice. Prior to purchasing our own kayaks this year, we tried to get out at least 3 or 4 times a season.

What kind or type of kayak(s) do you own? If you'll be renting or borrowing from a friend that's okay too. We also have rental kayaks for members to use.

Necky Elias and Eliza

Why do you kayak? Some people paddle to relax and get away from it all outdoors, others to stay fit. The real crazies paddle just for the joy and fun of it. What's your reason?

Paddling offers us a relaxing and different perspective on the nature around us.

What do you hope to get out of joining this group? Some people want to improve their paddling skills others just want to socialize with fellow paddlers. Is there anything special you're looking for?

More opportunity to paddle in different locations.

Introduction

My wife and I have always loved the sport and recently invested in our own equipment after a few bad rental experiences. We're mostly flat water paddlers looking to enjoy natural settings and wildlife.
