I have been kayaking intermittently for about 10 years, usually as part of a cruise tour. Prior to that, I was an avid whitewater rafter but decided to enjoy the rivers in a less dangerous way. For about 4 years, I've done flatwater.

Exercise, relaxation, get outdoors, socialization
All of the above but especially to paddle safely with others.
CKA is a great group of kayaking enthusiasts led by our Fearless Leader, Chuck, who is all you could possibly want in a leader and friend. Our trips are fun with appropriate attention to safety. I am so grateful for the group.--Julie (Figment)
This is the gift that just keeps giving. I am so grateful. Thank you Chuck and all of the outstanding assistant organizers. Every time I think the experiences we are having together cannot get better, they do!!! Thank you so much for all you do. More important, thank you for the caring spirit of the organizers! Words cannot express how much the quality of our lives (physically and mentally) has improved through our association.
