CARE PRESENTS the 2014 Chester County VEGAN FESTIVAL

WITH GUEST SPEAKERS: HAROLD BROWN (photo below), former cattle farmer, founder of Farm Kind, and subject of the documentary Peaceable Kingdom: The Journey Home LIQIN CAO, VP of UNITED POULTRY CONCERNS.
Vegan offerings will include the portobello mushrooms for which Chester County is famous, plus: kebabs, veggieburgers, local August corn, and foods from vegan restaurants! Prizes, a book sale, green products and exhibits, live music! A refreshing, joyful day for the whole family.
Kids under 6 free; $5 for ages 6 to 12; $10 for all others: outstanding food included!

Directions to Hoopes Park: (W Ashbridge St & Hoopes Park Ln, West Chester, PA 19380) • From east of West Chester (King of Prussia/Philly): 202 south to Paoli Pike OR West Chester Pike/Rte 3 into West Chester. As you enter town, continue into Gay St (ignore signs for Rt. 3) and go right on High St. Cross Marshall St. After Virginia Ave. make a left onto Ashbridge St., just before golf course. Hoopes Park is a few blocks down on the right.
• From south: 202 north into West Chester; downtown (do NOT take 202 Bypass ramp to the right at Holiday Inn), 202 becomes High St. Turn left onto Ashbridge St to Hoopes Park (on right).
• From north/west: From intersection of Rtes 30 and 100, take 100 south to the 202 Bypass and follow directions for coming from the East.
Taking public transportation or carpooling to this event is encouraged. See Septa Bus Route 92 from Exton, and Septa 104 from 69th Street, Philadelphia.
$2 meetup fee goes to animal sanctuary donation.
