Position Yourself as the Candidate of Choice in a Changing Job Market - Part 2

This location is shown only to members

This is the second in a three-part series of Chicago AMA workshops that focus on practical job search skills. Attendance at the first event is not required for this or the third session.

Session 2 will focus on writing and distributing a powerful, effective resume that gets noticed and generates interviews. Top marketing recruiter, Lynn Hazan, will serve as a coach during this workshop - so bring your resume and a red pen for markups.

Social media (session 1) may be getting all the headlines lately, but the resume is still the standard sales document when it comes to landing new opportunities. An effective resume must be concise, organized, interesting and comprehensive ... all at the same time.

Most importantly, the modern resume must be optomized to the Web 2.0 world we live in. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your skills and background on platforms beyond the ink and paper of a resume, and at the same time show off your technical savvy.

Learn from the best - Lynn Hazan has been coaching candidiates in effective resume-writing for 25 years.

Note: We'll be looking for brave volunteers to share a resume for critique during the session. We'll follow up with attendees as they RSVP with instructions.

Both Paypal and Amazon went screwy on us yesterday - investigating why. In the meantime, we can collect money at the door (cash or credit, actually). Sorry for the inconvenience.
