1 = I don't care; probably won't go even if you give me pizza and beer. 5 = Would probably get something out of it, though it would be nicer if there was pizza and beer. 10 = Who cares about pizza and beer, man? I NEED TO KNOW THIS NOW

The Chicago Drupal community has a long and proud history as one of the most active and vibrant in all of North America. The mission of the Chicago Area Drupal User Group (CADUG) is to create an open community among everyone interested in the Drupal open source content management platform.
CADUG has three primary goals:
• Host two monthly meetups (General and Advanced) for Drupal developers, users, and business people to meet, learn and share in a diverse, welcoming environment
• Organize and promote Drupal and open-source sprints, meetups, and Drupal camps happening throughout Chicagoland and the Midwest
• Encourage, mentor, and facilitate all kinds of contributors to the Drupal project
The “General” meetup is held the third Thursday of each month and will provide something of interest to everyone. Presentations and speakers will be aimed at a more general audience, with site show-and-tells, module demonstrations, news and announcements, and question and answer sessions. If you are new to Drupal, this is a great place to start and continue to learn about new Drupal things.
The “Advanced” meetup is held the second Tuesday of each month, and the location rotates to different venues around the city of Chicago and nearby suburbs. This is a place we can get together for in-depth presentations and discussions around Drupal architecture, development, and DevOps. We do not shy away from hard problems, providing an open forum to discuss and present on topics related to Drupal. This meetup is a sounding board for ideas, solutions and questions alike. There are no dumb questions and no problems too "simple" or too "advanced" - everyone should participate. We invite members of all skill levels to attend this group, ask questions and learn new things.
Which meetup should you attend? Both, if you can!
Contribute with CADUG
CADUG wants to help people of all skill levels ramp up for contributing to Drupal in any way that they can. We host, promote, and participate in Drupal sprints where everyone is welcome to contribute code, documentation, or tests to Drupal. No programming experience is required!
We believe all attendees should have access to a broad range of Drupal-related content and we encourage Drupal users of all walks of life to attend all CADUG meetups.
If you have an idea or would like to present at either of the monthly meetups, great! Please contact an organizer with your idea.
Code of Conduct
CADUG is dedicated to providing a harassment-free meetup experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of meetup participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any meetup venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. Meetup participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the meetup at the discretion of the organizers.
