Chicago Distilling Company Tour

Let's tour one of Chicago's newer distilleries! It's true that they don't currently have a bourbon on the market but distillery tours are always fun and interesting. I can't wait to check out this distillery. We will go over to boiler room afterwards for great pizza, craft beers, and bourbon.

The cost is $10 per person for the tour but I am currently attempting to negotiate a better price for our group.

Can you recommend a bar in the South Loop that offers a wide selection of bourbon (and other whiskies)?

I don't know the South Loop real well but the Firehouse Restaurant at 1401 S Michigan has a good selection of bourbon. A friend of mine recommended Scout on Wabash but they only have the standards, Knob, Makers, Baker's, Buffalo Trace, Basil Hayden etc. Old Fifth on Madison in the West Loop has a very wide selection.
