City Caver's Meetup

  • Oct 16, 2013 · 7:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Crawl, squeeze, climb and canyon, no cave required. Members of this group are interested in the science, sport and exploration of subterranean wilderness. Non-cavers are welcome! We do everything from skill-sharing to storytelling, depending on who's around.

Meetup is at the storefront art studio called "DrumFace". South side of the street, between Kedzie and Sawyer.

Street parking is metered until 9; some of the side streets are still permit-free (be sure to check for signs within 1/2 block of your car in either direction).

CTA bus connects along the Armitage corridor: Blue Line, Metra, Brown/Red Line trains.

(773)[masked] if you have trouble finding us, or to RSVP.  (Quentin & Heather)

Hey Chicago cavers!!! We are inching our way closer to the second weekend of November for the caving trip with Windy City Grotto. We are really excited to have a large group of active participants for this upcoming trip!!! If you have attended last meetup meeting and haven't been contacted please let me know by sending me a message so we can add you to the buzz chain of emails regarding the November trip. I know someone messaged me but for some reason I am not able to find the message you sent so you can also reach out to heather & Quentin and they can relay the message to me.
We are going to limit the trip to 25 people and we are just about at that number now so if you are interested in attending this trip please let us know. If you happen to miss the last meet up or miss this upcoming trip, we will be having another meetup in December to discuss future caving opportunities

It was awesome meeting everyone and we are happy to hear how excited everyone is about this trip.
    I will see you soon.
    Adam

Hello Allison, where have you gone caving before? You found the right group of cavers that go caving in the Midwest to other countries both horizontally and vertically. We hope to see you in October.
