Manhattan Chorale and the National Festival Chorus at Legendary Orchestra Hall

Hi all,

We are thrilled to announce our first concert of the[masked] season! On Tuesday, April 1st at 7:30pm we will hear the professional Manhattan Chorale and the National Festival Chorus, led by esteemed Conductor Craig Arnold at Chicago's legendary Orchestra Hall, Symphony Center, home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The concert will also feature The Northwest Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Kim Diehnelt and the University of Montana's prestigious Chamber Singers, conducted by David Edmonds. Don't miss this fantastic evening of choral favorites!

Following last year's performance at Orchestra Hall, Manhattan Chorale and members of the New York City Chamber Orchestra return to present another fabulous concert of renowned choral works, led by conductor Craig Arnold. Housed in their own midtown rehearsal facility, Manhattan Chorale is a 32-voice professional choir based in New York City and appearing in concerts throughout the United States. Manhattan Chorale presents an historical spectrum of choral masterworks large and small, traditional and contemporary literature, and the premiere of new works. Listen to Manhattan Chorale here

Conductor Craig Arnold recently completed a tenure as Director of Choral Activities and Conductor of the internationally renowned Nordic Choir at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, before becoming Conductor of the professional Manhattan Chorale. Craig Arnold has had an extensive career as conductor of choirs and orchestras of all ages throughout the US and abroad, having appeared in Japan, England, Scotland, Germany, France, Italy, Wales, Hong Kong, China, and Spain.

Make sure to reserve your spot early for this concert before seats sell out! Tickets are only $5 each, a fabulous discount and you can purchase your ticket(s) directly on this event page.

Hi, Ellie and Scott. I am driving in from Valpo separately from my friends Martha and Jim tomorrow, but we will all get there as close to 6:00 as possible. Scott, Cosi is at 116 S. Michigan, just north of the hall. Looking forward to meeting you both.

I'd like to meet before the concert. My cell is[masked]-2879. I can be in the loop by 6 p.m. I'm not sure what would be a good choice. You would want to park once, probably, so would have to be walking distance from Symphony Center. There is a Bennigan's at 150 s. Michigan. Miller's Pub at 134 S. Wabash is kind of old Chicago also comes to mind.

HI, Ellie. My two friends from Valpo and I would love to meet for dinner, but one of them can't get away until 4:30 as he's teaching a class at the U. We will no doubt hit traffic coming in, but if you're willing to aim for between 6 and 6:30 and tell us where you would like to meet, we're game. If that sounds too loosey-goosey, we'll try another time, okay? Either way, looking forward to meeting you at the concert.
