A Barefoot Walk

Taking a barefoot walk on beauty full green grass is therapeutic, restorative and free! Join me Wednesday evening at 6pm for a 2 mile walk around the outside of the pastures at the Danada Equestrian Center(weather permitting). I've been coming here for the past couple of years and have experienced great release from this activity. 

We'll spend this time talking about how we can manage stress levels on our own. The reason we feel tension is because we are actually holding on to negative energy from past traumati
c experiences. Whether it was physical or emotional, something that happened yesterday, or years ago, our bodies tense up to protect us when something bad is happening. We hold on to these experiences in our necks, shoulders, lower backs, knees, ankles, and even our genital area. That is why so many men have prostate issues and problems with e.d., and women are having trouble experiencing orgasm.

The good news is that once we are aware of the situation there are techniques available that can assist us with letting go. Intentional breathing is one of them, and when done regularly will initiate the release process. Not only that, proper breathing can increase the amount of oxygen we take into our bloodstream by 50% which helps to manage anxiety, depression, stress, high blood pressure, and can even reduce the risk of heart disease and certain types of cancer.

Inhaling is the future; it is the first thing we do when we are born. Every breath we take brings new fresh air into our system. Exhaling is the past; it is the last thing we do before we die. Every breath we release takes with it old, stale energy from the past. Being aware of this will empower you to start releasing more than the air you just inhaled.

The thing is that you have to breathe properly. If you are not breathing all the way into your lower abdomen EVERYTIME you take a breath, you are really just sabotaging yourself. Even if you work out regularly, jog, do yoga, take walks… if you are not breathing into your lower abdomen the benefits you are receiving get diluted. Understanding the power of breathing will open the doors to Self healing.

Now that you have opened them it is up to you to walk through. Breathing is just one of the many things we can do to heal our Selves. Movement, meditation, stretching, dietary adjustments and vibrational techniques will all lead to the release of negative energies caused by the different traumas and dramas we've experienced in our lives.
