This is a small group circuit/interval session with Rod Mason of Holistic Fitness at H.E.R.O Fitness near Elston and Armitage.
It is a circuit/interval training class that incorporate free weights, cardio and floor work - we do not use gym machines. Lots of in place arms and back and ab/core work.
We have fun in this class - laugh a lot, we talk the whole time about everything and anything (poor Rod!). It's a really fun hour!
And it's great to get your exercise out of the way first thing in the morning. Imagine going to Trader Joes/Target/Whole Foods after your workout is over at 9AM. NO LINES!!! I'm telling ya'!
Low - no jumping or significant pressure on knees
Moderate - sometimes we will do a little bit of cardio warmup but it's not too much.
Just Starting - we work with free weights and floor exercises and weights and reps can always be modified to your level of fitness. And we all take that option sometimes!
We must have 5 members to have the class. Max class size is 10. You pay when you sign up and I pay the trainer. Cost is $10.61 ($10 class / 0.61 Paypal fee)
