While stimulating the energy points used in acupressure and acupuncture, a person focuses on whatever one is trying to heal (usually you tap on these points, but you can also rub or massage them). By tapping at the same time as concentrating, you can access the emotions underlying the condition and release them. This improves the condition, which might be a physical problem, a craving, or a stuck emotion such as anger, fear or grief. This process can be done alone, with a practicioner or in a group. The technique is more powerful the more people there are involved.
