Erik Bryn on Web Components and Steve Faulkner with a Retrospective

Ember core team member Erik Bryn will be giving a talk about Web Components. Retrospective

Ember is powering a unique project in Madison, WI. and Madison Public Library are building an open source app where you can download and stream local artists' music - for free. I'll explain how Ember is uniquely suited to this task. Topics covered include:

- How we use Ember to build "uncomfortably fast" interfaces

- Why we never deploy code to a server

- How Ember components let non-devs contribute

- Why you should probably open source your front end

Steve Faulkner is co-founder and lead developer of He currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin, but day dreams about living in a cabin on the side of a mountain far away from the internet.
