Screening of "The Postman Always Rings Twice" With Q & A Afterwards

"Their Love was a Flame that Destroyed" was the tag line for The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946) Directed by Tay Garnett and starring Lana Turner and John Garfield. The two stars generate some serious heat in the film noir classic. This was a high point in the careers of both Turner and Garfield. Both stars achieved some of the best reviews of their careers for their performances in this movie.

    jack nicholson n jessica lange version is good for those who did not see the orginal. Movies fro the golden era simply cannot be duplicated, Gone with the wind cannot be remade.
