Do you wake up in the morning and dread going to work? Are you bored and frustrated with what you do for a living? Do you wish you had a career that was exciting and fulfilling? Do you believe the perfect career for you is out there somewhere but don’t know what it is? Are you in your 20s and ready to find the ideal career for you? If you answered yes to these questions, then “The Chicago Find a Career You Love” meetup is for you.

The meetup will follow a group coaching process and will be organized around the book, “Now What, The Young Person’s Guide to Choosing the Perfect Career”. The group will be facilitated by Career and Leadership Coach Ron Martin, and during our journey together, each participant will have the opportunity to explore and define their individual career paths, share their experiences with the group and learn from other like minded, career oriented individuals. By participating you will be able to:

• Develop a razor sharp image of who you are (your personality, natural talents and true interests)
• Establish career goals that are directly in line with your interests, values and needs
• Identify the work environment that is best suited to you
• Design a career strategy that will put you on a path to having a career that you love
• Put yourself directly on the path to landing that dream job

How will the Group Coaching Process work? As a group, we will:
• Meet 2 times a month
• Have an assignment from the book that will need to be completed by participants before the next Meetup
• Discuss what we’ve learned from our assignments and any challenges or opportunities we are facing
• Provide suggestions and recommendations to other participants to facilitate learning and progress
• Commit to specific actions and next steps to be completed before the next Meetup

Each session will be about 1 ½ hours, depending on the number of participants.
