Introduction

To find people who understand what i'm about.

What's something specific "green" you hope we're gonna be able to do in this group to help society?

maybe plant trees and flowers where theyre needed, clean up parks, convince park districts why they should compost. I don't know, i have a lot of ideas.

What "green" skill or experience can you bring to group members to enrich their lives?

I try and be as green as i can in my life. Cloth napkins, minimal plastic usage, donating, shopping thrift stores. I know what its like living with people who dont care about the environment. i can relate and give ideas.

Where will you typically be traveling from to meetup?

Just around my area, my car is not the best.

Hi Ashley. I am new to the group. I'm trying to meet some fellow vegetarians/vegans. I've been vegan for 15 years now. I am close to 70% raw. Anyway, I hope you can make it to Veggie Fest this weekend. If not, let's get together to talk about veganism, raw, health, philosophy, life, etc. What does it all mean? Hi Ashley! Did you hear about the VFW in Villa Park closing down the Puppy sale last weekend? We were a part of that closing. Do you currently volunteer for an animal welfare group. Most groups need foster homes to care for their animals before they get adopted. We also need people to help transport animals, trap neuter and release, etc. If you would like to be involved let me know.

All you need to do is buy a lift pass and rent skis/board. As for the apparel I'm sure we as a group will have extra stuff to share. I've got some extra skiing socks, gloves, googles, even extra pair of snow pants, although those might be too big for you, ha! Just yell if you need something, maybe other girls will have stuff your size.
