Help me plan the Chicago stop on the Thousand Locks for Cancer tour

  • Needs a location

  • I'm the natural beauty editor for About.com and am organizing a summer hair drive and wellness tour to benefit Beautiful Lengths and make free wigs for women with cancer.

    My stop in Chicago is planned for 8-9. Location suggestions needed.

    I would love to organize a group meetup and charity effort with all the Chicago Fun Volunteers who would like to help. Looking forward to your thoughts, and to seeing you this summer.

      I'm going to my salon this upcoming Friday, I'll ask the owner if he's interested and give him the information, including your email. I can't guarantee anything, but I'll definitely put it out there for him.

      I sent you a message to the email above on April 3 for a press kit or similar information to forward to the owner at Exsalonce Salon (where I go for my hair). I have yet to hear from you. Could you please reply here re: that email. It may have gone in your Spam filter accidently.

    Mario tricoco has 3 schools in the Chicago area and they do quite a bit if charity activities when I go in to get my hair done. Maybe you could try them as well
