Build sleeping mats for the homeless - NLOB

Join New Life for Old Bags at United in Faith Lutheran Church to make sleeping mats for the homeless.

Old plastic bags are cut and woven into mats. The mats are then handed out to the homeless by Cornerstone Community in Uptown.

NLOB is a well established organization that meets the first Saturday of each month.

Sorry I was a no-show! Feeling unwell and didn't really surface to full consciousness until late in the day yesterday. Hope you'll still let me attend the next time.

It's great to see everyone so involved and ready to help. I'll see you all there! They do have all the supplies needed, but if you want to bring plastic bags, scissors, or a ruler please feel free so we do not strain our hosts.

Hi Nickie, no you do not have to bring bags, they will have plenty. But, you can bring any extra you would like to donate.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
