Volunteer with your muscles and your heart, to help Food Pantry

Thank you everyone who came out to help The Coppin Community Center (CCC) food pantry on Martin Luther King Jr. day. The project served almost 100 clients in the neighborhood.  We will be returning there on a weekly basis to continue our great work and help feed a community in the Washington Park area.

We are looking for volunteers to use their muscles to feed the community. We need volunteers to help unload a van of food and bring it into the church for proper storage. The day event is on Monday, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Volunteers will work together and should feel comfortable lifting up to 30 pounds.  Please only sign up to help this event if you are physically comfortable with this weight requirement.

If you RSVP to bring a guest, please be sure you and your guests are fully committed to come and help, otherwise, you will create a shortage of volunteers if you cancel in the last minute or don't bring the volunteers you reserved for guest spots. This will put a burden on the other volunteers and negatively affect the food pantry's operation. If you are not sure about your schedule,  you can just wait until the last moment to sign up on Monday before 12:30 pm.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
