Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a nonprofit donor-supported organization, is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease. The Foundation is the leading organization in the United States devoted to cystic fibrosis. It funds and accredits more than 115 CF care centers, 95 adult care programs and 50 affiliate programs, and more than 70 chapters and branch offices nationwide. To learn more, please visit their website at www.cff.org.

One Brick Chicago chapter is 100% volunteer operated, with very little overhead and no pay staff. We don't even have a physical office.  One Brick is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (Federal ID:[masked]) that brings volunteers together to support other local non-profits by adopting an innovative twist to the volunteer experience: we create a friendly and social atmosphere around volunteering, and after each volunteer event -- which typically lasts only 3 to 4 hours -- we invite volunteers to gather at a local restaurant or café where they can get to know one another in a relaxed social setting. You can sign up or find many volunteer opportunities at  www.onebrick.org
