I've tutored kids of all ages in math, reading, and french; volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and Special Olympics; and participated in community cleanups. I also helped run an organization at my university to help raise awareness and money for Cystic Fibrosis research.
Actions speak louder than words, and I think the way someone uses their time tells a lot about them. It's important to take time for yourself, but it's equally important to help those around you in any way you can. Having Moral Fiber means having integrity; doing the right thing even when nobody is watching.
I have lived in Chicago for 2.5 years. I have a car, but I like to bike around the city when the weather isn't too miserable.
I love working with kids, doing anything athletic/active, and being outdoors.
I searched for volunteer groups on Meetup!
Hi! I recently finished my MSW at Loyola and began working as a school social worker. I'm looking to get more involved in the community when I'm not working. I love working with kids, doing anything active, and being outdoors.
