Introduction
Hi everyone! I am so excited to join this group as I have a real passion for volunteering and am interested in meeting others who do as well. I have not been volunteering lately and am looking to get back to it.
Have you ever volunteered before? In what way? (Tutoring, Kids, Humanitarian, Cleanup, Nature, Animals) Still doing so?
Yes - I have done everything from answering a hotline to helping run groups for LGBTQ Youth. I am currently not volunteering.
What do a peron's day-to-day actions REALLY say about them? What do the words MORAL FIBER mean to you? Tell us what you think...
I cannot speak to others but to myself, and I personally feel that part of my responsibility as a person is to help others.
Are you new to Chicago? Might you need or can you help carpool? As a fun community of members, transport to non-city events never ends up a problem!
I am actually currently living outside the city but would be willing to help with carpooling if needed.
Occasionally outside groups contact us looking for help. Is there a specific type (animals, kids, etc) of volunteering you would like us to keep you mind for in these situations?
I am open to any opportunity.

Hi Jamie, so nice meeting you and the other ladies at the Travel Cafe! Forgot to mention that I traveled by buses during my trips to Africa and the buses were clean, comfortable and I'm sure on par with the buses in Argentina. No worries if and when you ever decide to travel to that beautiful continent!
