Hello everyone my name is Marianne Naughton I am happy to join your group
Have you ever volunteered before? In what way? (Tutoring, Kids, Humanitarian, Cleanup, Nature, Animals) Still doing so?
yes, I use to clean a m.s. campground when I owned a commercial cleaning company. I helped out at an Earth Day fair for 2 years. I sold jewelry with my daughter at an event for women to women international group in Washington DC, I volunteered at an animal rescue for over a year and I volunteered with my daughter at a childrens museum for 2 years.
What do a peron's day-to-day actions REALLY say about them? What do the words MORAL FIBER mean to you? Tell us what you think...
moral (ethics) and fiber (holding together) I would think is substance
Are you new to Chicago? Might you need or can you help carpool? As a fun community of members, transport to non-city events never ends up a problem!
I am sorry I live in the burbs
Occasionally outside groups contact us looking for help. Is there a specific type (animals, kids, etc) of volunteering you would like us to keep you mind for in these situations?
Because I write for Examiner.com, you can contact me to publish any fundraising event, museum or art gallery articles.

WELCOME to the group!!!!!! I have read a lot of introductions. Yours, by far, is the most heart warming! I used to watch all the games with my Dad when I was a little girl. LOL i dressed my Barbies as Honey Bears. I really hope you can make into the city for some meetups. I purposefully do some that are close to the highway with easy parking for the fans in the burbs. So far that has worked out well. 86 days until kickoff!
