Hi I'm Valerie My website is www.ChoicesFundraising.com. Donate to the charity of your choice and then visit Choices Fundraising to receuve chances to win items. I am also a volunteer with Canine Companions for Independence. www.cci.org
I just started a company to help charities. My website is under development...coming soon ChoicesFundraising.com. When you donate to the charity of your choice, I reward you with chances to win items. Prizes will vary but the first few will be quilts that I make. I help train service dogs & have a home business doing the best-ever fundraisers!
Moral fiber is doing the right thing without even thinking about it. Day to day actions say everything! People who don't give just have not found that place in their lives. I know because I did not always volunteer. I'm more complete now that I do.
I am not new to Chicagoland. I'm in Lake County so carpooling might be a great idea.
My husband and I are experienced with dogs, me as a volunteer him as an AKC Obedience Judge. I have years of sewing and quilting experience.
Just saw you on Meet Up.
Thanks I just talked to Felicia and they may need help in Bolingbrook (also close by)
Valerie: Looking forward to meeting you on Saturday, I assisted in the training of my daughter service dog.
Hi Valerie - I have done Charity Knitting for Halos of Hope - handknit chemo caps for local hospitals. Have directly donated my knitted hats to a knit shop in Buffalo Grove. Tell me more abt your Snowflake Project! Look forward to meeting you sometime!
FYI, since we just haven't gotten any interest for this on July 8th, I am RESCHEDULING this to July 29th. I hope we actually get some additional people. Also I hope this doesn't present an Inconvience for you!
Valerie, I'd love to get together after the holiday. I will give you a call next week so we can set up a time to meet :) Have a great Fourth!
As a staff partner for ACS, I'm responsible for organizing fundraisers in Lake County like Relay For Life, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Walk & Roll to raise money to support the programs we provide, like wigs for cancer patients, rides to treatment, etc. I'm also responsible for coming up with participant and volunteer recruitment and fundraising programs to make these events successful. I really enjoy working with volunteers so my job is very rewarding. :)
Valerie, glad to hear you'll be there May 5th. I'm kind of co-hosting with Judy C. Can't wait to meet your service dog too!
I hope to meet you one of these days too!
Hi Valerie and welcome to Creatively Caring Families!
