Hi. Now I don't have to rake the leaves,
Yes, I have volunteered for the Park District at Washington Park planting, clean up in Lincoln Park, food pantry unloading food, reading to children, packing books, cooking at a homeless shelter, packing food, translating at an information booth, etc. and any place that needs help if I'm available.
Day-to-day actions say what the person mean not what they say. Moral Fiber, means that you are willing to stand up for what is right, just, & honest.
I drive, but usually take a bus into the downtown area. Parking is just too expensive. Most volunteers are not from my part of town, but if someone needed a ride I would be willing to drive. If we had to pay to park I'd like them to share the cost.
A friend in Nevada.
Great bunch of dedicated volunteers that can have a good time as they help our veterans.
Hi Silvia & a cheery welcome to our Chicago Fun Volunteers! Seeing as you're into nature I'm including you in our "nature mailer" right off ok? This will include you, among other things, of the exact location of the sanctuary our volunteers will be helping out at each Sat AM :)
