Introduction
I'm looking forward to being part of a Meetup group that is devoted to giving back to the community.
Have you ever volunteered before? In what way? (Tutoring, Kids, Humanitarian, Cleanup, Nature, Animals) Still doing so?
I've volunteered at the Morton Arboretum, with Friends of the Chicago River, the United Way and Big Brothers Big Sisters. I'm always up for helping out.
What do a peron's day-to-day actions REALLY say about them? What do the words MORAL FIBER mean to you? Tell us what you think...
I live by the words of JFK and I believe every American should help one's community and those in need.
Are you new to Chicago? Might you need or can you help carpool? As a fun community of members, transport to non-city events never ends up a problem!
I live in the SW Burbs, but work downtown. I do have a car and am willing to carpool if need be.
Occasionally outside groups contact us looking for help. Is there a specific type (animals, kids, etc) of volunteering you would like us to keep you mind for in these situations?
Animals, kids, nature, cleanup. It would definitely interest me if there was a group in the SW burbs that needed help.
Where did you hear about our group? A Current Member (who)? Meetup link/email? Flier? Speech? Facebook? Other? (Specific answers will help us & the number we reach out to *GROW* :)

Hi Maggie! I am really looking forward to Saturday. The carpool group meeting at the holiday inn; will they be meeting near the hotel or bannanas? I am new to the group and am not that familure with the people so if i know where to go it will be easier. thanks! janet

you have a meetup event for the "Annual Tinley Park St. Patrick's day parade on Oak Park ave"? Its on Sunday March 13 and the parade route is somewhere around 177th & Oak Park ave and runs thru 171 & Oak Park ave. Their are good places the meetup group can meet...either "Hollsteins or Ed & Joes or some other bar/restaurant on Oak Park ave. I say we should all meet somewhere around 1:00PM or 1:30PM to meet Jim -
