Have you ever volunteered before? In what way? (Tutoring, Kids, Humanitarian, Cleanup, Nature, Animals) Still doing so?

I've been a volunteer Teacher, Photographer, Hike Leader, etc. I also used to bring Lincoln Park Zoo animals into the Chicago Public Schools and teach about them. I have tutored reading, worked at the Chicago Food Depository on assembly lines to bag food, distributed food at a food pantries, prepared food for food pantries, made phone calls for politicians, attended meetings regarding political issues and more.

What do a person's day-to-day actions REALLY say about them? What do the words MORAL FIBER mean to you? Tell us what you think...

A picture is overlapping this line, but I think I can still read the question. Peoples' actions speak louder than words. Just like politicians, everyone tends to do what is consistent with what they believe. The term "moral fiber" means a quality of integrity that a person can bring to bear when working and connecting with others.

Are you new to Chicago? Might you need or can you help carpool? As a fun community of members, transport to non-city events never ends up a problem!

I have lived in Chicago all my life. Altho my car sometimes balks, I might be able to occasionally carpool.

Occasionally outside groups contact us looking for help. Is there a specific type (animals, kids, etc) of volunteering you would like us to keep you mind for in these situations?

animals, office work (I have office experience.), liaison work (I have worked extensively to refer people to resources). I am open to new things.

Where did you hear about our group? A Current Member (who)? Meetup link/email? Flier? Speech? Facebook? Other? (Specific answers will help us & the number we reach out to *GROW* :)

I am a volunteer from way back. Currently, I work with seniors to plan and carry out activities, but would like to explore other activities, as well, hopefully ones that would teach me new skills.
