Signal creates marketing software that helps businesses create, publish and send their email, mobile, and social campaigns -- plus manage customer data -- in a single platform. We're a Chicago-based startup with 6 full-time employees. Starting in November we'll be moving into 1871.
I've had a passion and interest in startup marketing for several years, but the landscape feels a bit uncharted. There are strategies and tactics that can be implemented as with any business, but I'm interested in talking to and collaborating with people who have ideas about strategic customer acquisition in the tech sector -- with people who know you can't just "tweet and they'll come." I'm the sole marketing person at my company, and it gets a bit lonely sometimes. I'd like the opportunity to learn from others in similar industries.
I'm the community manager at Signalhq.com. I have a marketing/social media background, and I'm interested in small business, entrepreneurship, and startups.
