Greetings to all. The Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club is having a membership drive, and I thought it be worthwhile to let you all know about it.
The Chicago Guitarists have enjoyed the CCYC since 2010, and how much fun has it been indeed!
The Board made the Third Friday of each month official for our open mic/social/jam
$160/YEAR sponsored membership grants 24/7/365 access. Think about it.
The amenities are amazing.
A place to meet with the privacy that is hard to find, parking, a stage with lights, all without time limitations.
Access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for a year.
Meet some of the coolest, laid back, loose hanging, kick back, chilled out people...Dock and Seasonal parties are the norm, and for those of us accomplished guitarists/musicians, do not be surprised if your talents are contracted.
Restaurant is open from May to October, the bar serves up $1 beer, and the harbor has one of the most spectacular views of Chicago.
Then, there is the reason it is one of the best places on earth to visit.
Becoming a member also brings with it the social activity of SAILING...
Either cruising, racing, or if you have children under 21...JR FLEET, It's a great place for our children to learn how to sail. For adults there is "Crew School"...once the course is completed, you can "crew around" with different sailing boats...
No need for experience, just the desire to get on the water, and enjoy the thrill of sailing.
I've been there for ...gee. I forgot...almost 12 seasons..., and make it my home in the summer.
I hope you think about it. No pressure here, but I just had to share this with you!
Let me know what you all think....Rock On! Chicago Guitarists...
Howdy!...Looking forward to jamming with you all.
I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
