'50s to current. Simon and Garfunkel, Motown, pop, folk, reggae: Whatever has chords I can play!!!

What would you like to see/do at a guitar meet-up group?

Play and sing with friendly guitarists. Maybe eventually get a small group to go play at an open mike or similar venue.

Hi, I started playing July, 2010 and I really enjoy it. I'm really a singer who plays violin and mandolin, and now guitar. I have played at some open mikes. I know basic open chords. also have written a few songs, some humorous.

What Elissa is saying about this Meetup Group

We played at the comic book store until 11:30, then six of us moved to the yacht club for another two hours. This after-jam was super cool, more subdued. (Except when I was dancing.) Stu led us in lots of songs, with Carolyn and me singing harmony. I also enjoyed Walter's playing. It was all fantastic. I left tire, but happy!
