Howdy!...Looking forward to jamming with you all.
Axe?...well, it's more like a Fender acoustic guitar.
Rock and Roll...from the early tunes to the latest. I am fascinated with music theory, scales, modes, and chord progressions. It's time that I share what I know, and learn from others.
For those that are new to the guitar. We should set aside a half hour to 45 minutes of easy songs, talk about finger muscle memory, scales, basic chords, and question & answers. Lets make it fun for the beginner.
This was the last of the Beginners Blues sessions...thanks to all who made it possible, and especially Thane Thompson....thanks a milllion! Be careful out there, my man. We'll see you when you get back after your stint. I've never jammed for over 10 minutes without stopping...12 Bar Blues are a must for anyone that wants to jam, and sound halfway decent... So much fun! Robert is really good at lead, and Mario, Liz awesome....Carolyn, great keyboard, guitar and singing. Thane thanks again for the hospitality, and Mark our new sound guy....Oh, and the new drummer who I thought was a "ringer"...but, was his first time.
Hey J, the Thane Thang was fun. Keep my special pick safe!
Howdy Back... Joe... we meet last Friday, you and Terry were talking about other classes and I told you about Nick. And a few years back on your sailboat... both times I was with Carolyn.
Hello Joe and Terry
Here’s the info on a great guitarists and teacher Nick Boettcher
Teaches at Avenue N Guitars also has a band they play every Monday night at Wrightwood Tap at 9:30.
Terry, with you being a drummer, their drummer is amazing.
I met Nick through a friend of mine named Rob Martwick, and that group of friends know me as ‘Shawn”
And Joe if you need some to help sail that incredible sailboat of yours… let me know.
Hi Joe! It was a pleasure meeting all of you as well. I had a blast with you guys on Sunday at the CCYC. I look forward to playing with you guys in the future. Thank you for inviting me to join you once again!
hey Joe, Wanted to Check in with you and make sure we're good for the open Mic This Friday? I'm getting the other elements lined up, I just wanted to check in with you first. Now you said we probably shouldn't start making a lot of noise until 9 or so right? What if we go accoustic jam at 8, then open mic at 9?
