I can't imagine having to change providers at such a late date. I would check out the Swedish Covenant Hospital, I'll get back with exactly which one. A friend of mine had her 5 kids there and is Very happy with the care she and her family were provided. I'd also recommend contacting a Douala or well known midwife to perhaps help her through the first 12 hours or so of labor at home. What will her doctor do if she just doesn't show up until she's in labor? Did the doc see something that led her to believe that the baby could be in jeopardy> Poor thing, this sucks.
