This Meetup is for students and professionals living in the greater Chicago area, who are interested in discussing and exploring the field of information architecture and user experience. The goal of this Meetup is to do more than simply identify current theories and approaches, but to create new theories and approaches that will help guide the field of information architecture and user experience.

In our Meetups, we will discuss: card sorting techniques, classification, human-computer interaction, information architecture, information design, interaction design, knowledge management, searching, taxonomies, usability testing, user experience design and web design/development.
