Explore Chicago's contributions to the American Civil War with presentations by four noted historians. Topics include Chicago's fight against slavery, the war's economic impact on the city, and the history of Camp Douglas. New this year: Several exhibitors will share educational resources, including local preservation efforts and an exhibit of authentic Civil War uniforms and weaponry. Tours of Clarke House offered at the conclusion of the program. Cost includes breakfast and lunch refreshments. Limited seating.
