Independent Knitting

  • In my home. Smoke free and no cats, but a 6 pound yorkie.

This group is designed for you to work at your own pace, learn new skills, share ideas and make new friends. Knitters are the best people! I can also teach crochet.  Exact address will be send upon RSVP, but am located close to 16th and Michigan.

I started this group in my home because I thought it is nicer than meeting in a coffee house or other location. I wanted to share my love of knitting and all of the knowledge I have learned. Coffee, tea and treats are served. You may BYOB if you wish.

For beginning knitters: If you do not know the basics of knitting, please sign up and take the basic beginning knitting class that I offer each month before you attend the weekly meetups.  If you aren't sure, please email and we can decide.  Thanks  Elizabeth

I'll have to skip today. I finished my first baby blanket! Yay! (I'll bring it next time to show off.) Now I don't have any projects started, as I'm waiting for my online yarn order to arrive. I'll catch you guys next week! :)

Meetup has allowed me to meet people I wouldn't have met naturally - they're totally different than me.
