Sleigh Bells @ the Metro, Sun. Nov. 4th

**NOTE:  This show has been rescheduled from the original date!!**

Who knew 80's guitar riffs and indie dance pop fit so perfectly together.  Sleight Bells have been in town before backing their ultra infectious debut, and I wouldn't miss them for anything on their return backing their 2nd album, Reign of Terror.

From the Metro website:

The Brooklyn duo known as Sleigh Bells emerged in the Fall of 2009 with rhythmic pop songs that combine overdriven guitar riffs and sugary female vocal melodies. Guitarist/producer Derek Miller teamed up with singer Alexis Krauss after he happened to serve her and her mother at a Brazilian restaurant in Brooklyn. As proof of their winning formula, Sleigh Bells quickly earned the adoration of critics at the New Yorker, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, and more. Their debut album, Treats, released on Mom + Pop Music in May 2010, ended up on over 150 Best-Of lists for that year. Their newest, Reign of Terror, produced by Miller, is one of the most highly anticipated albums of 2012.

SONG:  Comeback Kid (off their 2nd album, Reign of Terror)

TICKETS:  $21 at the B.O. (~$27 online)

SHOW:  9pm, doors at 8pm, with opening bands Jel and Sumsun.

As always, we'll meet at the Gingerman (next door to the metro) so everyone can meet each other, grab a drink, chat a bit, then head over as a group.

I've never used stubhub so I couldn't say what a ticket would run with fees, but both stubhub and craigslist still have a few tickets available in the $35 range. Good luck!
