Introduction
I love electronic music but am not too well versed in it's evolution or culture and wouldn't mind going to a show here or there as I go to alot of indie rock shows in town and love it..
How much do you typically spend when you go out? What's a "reasonable" price for your favorite drink? What is it?
20 - 50 bucks depending on who I'm with...I don't drink at all right now so it's not an issue for me..

no I have dabbled with producing beats on a BOSS dr.groove I bought and then sold and would love to own some 1200s and an mpc 4 some day

What's your favorite electronic music genre? Least favorite?
not too knowledgeable on the suddler differences but I like more cerebral alternative stuff like Cepia or Air but I really love the Hip Hop nfused stuff like Eliot Lipp or Royksopp too.. Least favorite would be commercial club techno prbly

I have just joined Meetup! I am all about indie music and will be spending a lot of time in Chicago (due to work) in the next few months. Thought I would try to find some like-minded people to enjoy some great LIVE ROCK music with. I do not like dance clubs and djs, but I LOVE the diversity and heart of the indie scene!
