What's New and Notable in Axure 7

Description:
A new and improved version of Axure RP is making its way through the beta phase and is getting ready to launch. Version 7 of Axure includes some powerful new features like Adaptive Views and Repeaters. Axure 7 also introduces some new touch gestures for mobile designers, and rearranges some existing functionality into new panels and menus for easier management of widget styles and properties.

In this one-hour talk, Will Hacker looks at some of the new features in the latest version of Axure. This talk will make extensive use of working examples so you can see how these new features can be put into practice today.

Our Speaker:
Will Hacker is a Lead Interaction Designer at GE Capital, where he works on multi-device designs for commercial lending software. He has used Axure for several years as part of his iterative design and prototyping process. Will is currently writing a book on mobile prototyping with Axure 7, and has written about user experience design for Smashing Magazine and UX Booth. You can follow him on Twitter (@willhacker) or check out his website, willhacker.net
