Charitable Happy Hour Mixer and SFC one Year Anniversary at Crimson Lounge

My friend Naima has a charitable fundraising group called Stand For a Cause. They do an event at the end of each month for different charities and not for profit groups. Let's give her a hand and help some deserving people out!

Join Stand for a Cause for our one year anniversary celebration and our April Young Professionals Happy Hour Mixer on April 25th from 6 to 9pm at Crimson Lounge in River North

Network with Chicago’s movers and shakers, mix and mingle with old friends, and make new connections...just by showing up, you will be supporting a great cause!
The event will include complimentary deserts from local Chicago businesses, Dj’d music and various raffle prizes.

The evening will benefit and promote awareness for the Sahel Food Crisis (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTRAtpxEvMA). Across nine countries on the edge of the Sahara desert, over 12 million people face hunger. One million children under five are being severely undernourished. In a world that has the resources to feed its entire population, we CAN work together to end their hunger (http://www.unocha.org/crisis/sahell)

We've had a great one year run so far and couldn't have done it without your support. As always, thank you for your generosity and we hope that you will continue to partner with us as we change lives one event at a time! There's a $10 donation for the event.

You can connect with us on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Istandforacause to get updates and see pictures of past events.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
