Introduction
I joined to meet others with the same passion for singing and performing. This group was about to slide away so I stepped up as organizer. Karaoke is fun when available, but given a choice, you can be certain that I'm headed to Live Band Karaoke.
If you could start a cover band, who would it be?
I dig the poets and always get lost in the lyrics of Hutchence, Plant, and Morrison. I have a deep interest in singing covers for all of their material.
Do you play an instrument?
No. It's gonna to have to be singing. Honestly, what can you play after you've put in 20 years on a computer keyboard?
How long have you been singing?
A friend dragged me to the stage for regular Karaoke in Jan. 2008.
What Murray River is saying about this Meetup Group
Singing in the car, singing in the rain, singing in the shower. Singing in spotlight with a live band... it's the next logical step, and it gets easier every time. You don't need a "perfect" voice and the lyrics are provided. Our group is easy going and you'll always leave with a smile.

Murray, you speak French! Where have I been? I have been out of town quite a bit to see family, but I also have been working a lot on a side project I'm trying to get finished in the next month or so. Sorry, but I had to drop something in order to keep going. Plus, it's REALLY cold outside! I'll be along again soon; I have not forgotten the group.
