Elgin: Future War!

When a cyborg and his tiny hunter-tracker dinosaur chase a kickboxing slave to earth from the future, only a nun and a bunch of really unconvincing street gangsters can stop him.  The cyborg, not the kickboxer.

Officially the newest movie riffed on MST3k, the film's producer is cited as having suggested during filming that it would be great if this movie ended up on MST3k, which it was, so... yay?  The film's star is a relatively prolific Hollywood stuntman with a striking resemblance to Jean-Clean van Damme -- you know it's not him because he never does the splits, we never see his bare butt, and the closest the movie has to a sassy female reporter is a streetwise lapsed nun, which is... I don't know, pretty close?  There's probably a metric for this somewhere.

We'll be starting the movie at 2 PM, but someone from the group (likely me) will be in the bar downstairs at around noon or 12:30. So come to the bar, have lunch with some of your fellow MSTies, then head on up to the private room to watch the movie! I charge $5 per person for equipment and room costs.

The Elgin Public House is at 219 Chicago Street in Elgin, just 2 miles from rt. 90 and 3 blocks from the Elgin Metra station (Milwaukee District/West line http://metrarail.com/content/metra/en/home/maps_schedules/metra_system_map/md-w/schedule.html). All comers are welcome and I hope to see more new faces, especially you suburbanites who have difficulty getting to Chicago!
