I have an MBA from the mid 1970s and no further formal trainging. I am monitoring Andrew Ng's course at Stanford and continue to monitor developments in the mass apprisal field, although not much has changed there outside the recognition that modelling spatial or locational effects is important and difficult.

I'm a consultant in property assessment and taxation, where neural networks were seen for awhile as a potential basis for computer assisted mass appraisal. They're abandoned now, but seem to me to have more potential than is generally recognized.
