We are going to have an open discussion with lots of audience participation. The theme will be for everyone to talk about their favorite iOS and Android frameworks, tools and utilities. They could be ones that you've seen out in the marketplace, heard good (or bad) things about, used in your development projects or just want to hear more about. We will help moderate the group, but we are looking for everyone to drive the conversation. You can even come up and demo any apps that showcase the tools (whether in your app or someone else's) so that we can get real-time feedback and see what everyone thinks.
As always, there will be plenty of time for networking. See you all there.

I enjoyed the discussions and it was nice to spend some time with some like minded individuals who are very passionate about what they do.

I don't know that the open forum worked. Maybe 5% of the attendees contributed 90% of the information, and in that there were few new tools mentioned over the 1.5 hours. Something like this should be more topic focused to stay relevant and attract the right audience.
The networking part of it was appreciated, however.

It was a great, well-attended event with a lot of really smart people. You can just feel the potential within this group to make some awesome apps! It was nice to be able to meet some of you, and I look forward to making longer term parking arrangements for the next Meetup so I can get to know more of you.

I thought Gregg did a great job facilitating to ensure good coverage of topics and frameworks. To his own point, we probably spent a little too much time on cross-platform tools.
