Sean Kozak bio:

I created The Elite Trading Coach to express my passion and experience for trading stocks and futures. Trading has been a way of life for me mainly because I have always viewed myself as a contrarian. Those who are traders understand what I mean by “contrarian”, since most compare the financial markets to a casino. Whenever I meet with other traders there’s an immediate bond that comes from being a mentor and a fellow trader. My hopes and aspirations are to inspire lives by providing the proper education that allows others to secure financial freedom through trading the financial markets.

My financial markets experience began with trading equities. As I advanced I took on trading options and futures giving me a complete perspective of global markets. I will be the first to admit that in the beginning things were not always easy. I faced many roadblocks however; it was my passion and desires to become a highly successful trader that brought me to succeed. I was fortunate to have mentors in the industry ranging from institutional order flow managers on the CME, former market makers with the CBOE and risk managers from algorithm futures prop firms.

Prior to trading I worked in the oil and gas industry where I was responsible for systems operations on large drilling rigs across northern canada. After leaving that industry, I went on to becoming a graduate from the Algonquin College School of Business where I was President of the Finance Club allowing me to help bridge financial literacy into the school systems. I later went on to obtain my Securities License where I began trading as an independent advisor.
