Great turn out. Node school was a nice intro to JavaScript in relations to node. Also had some great side discussions about node, rails, github, android and xbmc :) Thanks

Hi all, I have never attended this meetup (sorry!) but I am certainly looking forward to doing so this week. That being said, I see that the topic is still listed as TBD. If there is not already a plan on the table, I might suggest doing a workshop from nodeschool.io. These lend themselves very well to this style of meetup and might be a nice change of pace (as if I know what the norm is..). I have written one of the modules called promise-it-wont-hurt which teaches the use of promises in node/javascript. Some of the other workshops are a bit more general and might be preferable for a wider audience. Either way, let me know if I can be helpful at all and otherwise I'll see you all there.

Sounds good! I updated the description. I left time at the end for running through one of these workshops. I don't know that we'll finish it, but we can get people started.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
