Welcome to the official Meetup group for the Chicago Paranormal Research Society! We're a local paranormal group that investigates local and state-wide hauntings and other paranormal phenomenon. If you are interested in the paranormal, or have experienced anything yourself, please join us at one of our monthly discussions or our public investigations (open to everyone!).
The Chicago Paranormal Research Society is dedicated to professional and scientific compilation of evidence of paranormal activity. We strive to investigate thoroughly and objectively, seeking out all possible explanations before accepting evidence as supportive of paranormal activity.
Formed in November 2006 by members of a Meetup group, we meet regularly to discuss and plan upcoming investigations, review possible evidence that was previously captured, and discuss equipment and methods for paranormal investigations.
We don't charge for membership to this Meetup, but some investigations may have a fee to encourage RSVP's to show up so the Waiting List people don't miss out. We are a registered Non-Profit organization, all funds are used for Meetup fees and updating our gear for everyone to use!
Please at least RSVP yes or no- we all joined by choice, and we're all here to meet fellow ghost hunters, so participate!

Greetings all,
I have secure the famous Hannah House in Indianapolis for a over night Ghost Hunt for all those that are interest. It will start at 8pm and we will be locked in until 6am the next morning. Saturday Feb 20th is the date that is booked.
History of the House:
Built in 1858 by Alexander Hannah, aged 37 at the time. Read more
