Photoshoot of Union Station in Chicago at end of Rush-hour 2nd

Group is planned to meet around 6:00 PM in Union Station to capture the architecture of this beautiful building while capturing the energy of everyone moving. It is so hit and miss with the weather this makes for a good Thursday after work event. Most of the shooting will be in the main hall area. Great area for slow shutter action shots.

After the event those that want to can grab a pint and some food at the local Blackie's in the building. I will update exactly where in Union Station we will meet before the event. Feel free to reach out to me with any request or new event recommendations.

This was my first meetup group and it was not bad and I would attend another one. I think having a bit more detail on the exact location is needed. Union Station is a big place and I have not been there in years. The name of the bar was Metro (just for future reference).

There is a large tunnel off the main terminal going further to the trains with a restaurant/bar next to it. Everyone should meet outside the front of the restaurant/bar area.

I don't think there should be an issue. Might be worth waiting until traffic slows down before bringing them out in the middle of the hall.

Jason, would there be a problem setting up tripods in the hall? Thanks. Sam
