Hi Everyone this is Chris Dee Dee's husband. As some of you know I am currently out of work and have been for over 3 months. I am currently looking to make some extra money and I am doing some research on pet walking services. I was wondering if there are enough pugs out there for me to start a company of one that walks and cares for Pugs and small dogs. Also I would love some information on what you currently pay for this service. This is just to give me a guide on what to possibly charge if I do go forward with this idea. If you have any suggestions you can email me at chrissanford65@hotmail.com and I will check back to this forum for answers.
Thank you for listening, Chris |

I think there are people who would use your services. Have you considered doing some day care in your home at an hourly rate? for example, we will be out on a saturday for about five hours right during the time our dog eats and has to go out. It would be great to have someone who could watch her during that time so she won't be stuck in a crate.I pad 30.00 a day but their were restrictions on when she could arrive and leave that wouldn't help me for a saturday between 2 and 7pm

Hi Chris,
Haven't been on the site for awhile...have you found a job yet? I use Karla's Kritter Sitters...Karla went to high school with my daughter, so I have known her and her husband, Brendan, for a long time. They charge $13 for the first dog, $1 for each additional dog...for a 25 minute walk. They also do overnights in the dog's home for people out of town...all their fees are on their website www.karlaskrittersitters.com Good luck. Bev |
