We're trying out a new place this month. The Barking Lot in West Bucktown is open 7 days a week and has plenty of space for our doggies to run around. We'll be meeting up in the large room. You can check it out on their website. We're inviting the Puggles, who are also looking for a new space to meet since losing both their previous organizer and their meetup spot.

Please note, we are meeting on a Sunday afternoon this time to try to accomodate some of our members who have a hard time getting to Saturday meetups.

The cost will be $3.00 per adult at the door. Kids and dogs are free.

I will be looking for your feedback on this new meetup venue, so please let me know what you think!

    Always great to see everyone and tire the pugs! Enjoyed the people and the puggles. But this was not my favorite location. Parking was extremely difficult and the block was trashed -- with the rain, the pugs had to wade through filthy, wet garbage for a block to get there. Yuck. Inside was better but the floor was extremely slippery. It seemed hard for the dogs to really run. Granted, I don't like change, adored M and Men :-D and torrential rain probably exacerbated the things I didn't like.

    Olivia and I came late from puppy school but she had a blast, she tends to stick right to my side but definately felt right at home with the blur of pugs! I disagree about the big dogs, I thought they were really well behaved and Olivia loved them! It was our first event and a lot of fun I wasnt sure what to expect but I couldnt stop laughing when I saw just how many pugs there were!! Hopefully when it gets warmer we can do something outside that would be fun!

      “ I really liked the Barking Lot. There is tons of space for them to run around in and the staff made an effort to keep this place very clean. I also really liked how we had our own private floor. Parking was also a breeze, with free street parking, if you can find a spot, or a 2 hr meter for 50 cents right around the corner. Thank you again for having a meet-up on Sunday for us weekend workers! ”

    • “ dogs had very little water availabilty. There were pugals there who were very aggressive a rotty and and a Siberian Husky. Although the larger breeds were generally good dogs the pugals do NOT belong to a pure bred Pug event. Not wnough drinks or food for the people and really no theme Very POOR ”
