The April meet-up will again be at The Barking Lot in West Bucktown. The meet-up will be co-hosted with the Northern Illinois Pug Rescue and The Barking Lot will donate entry fees to the rescue. All proceeds go to pay vet bills and expenses for rescue pugs.
Who: All people and pugs! Pug-sized canine friends are also invited to join us.
Cost: Adults are $5, pugs are free, with all proceeds going to pug rescue.
What to bring:
Bring gently used dog supplies, such as leashes, collars, clothing for a puggy garage sale. Proceeds of the sale will go to pug rescue and any leftover items will be donated for use by the rescue pugs.
Also bring light, easy to eat refreshments if you wish to contribute to a snack potluck. We'll provide drinks, plates, cups, etc.
The event will run until 4 PM
The Barking Lot is open 7 days a week and has plenty of space for our doggies to run around. You can check it out on their website at www.barkinglotinc.com. There is neighborhood and metered parking as well as a small side parking lot.
See the NIPRA web page at www.northernillinoispugrescue.org
Chris and Stuey and Guinness and I look forward to seeing you all there!
