The library is located at the intersection of Fullerton and Racine. It’s accessible by CTA bus #74 on Fullerton and is 3 blocks west of the CTA Red Line. Parking is available on the street and in the lot east of the building on Fullerton.
We will be in the library’s Community Meeting Room, which will open at 6:00pm. Our presentation will begin at 6:30pm, but feel free to come a little early.
6:30pm - 7:15 pm Presentation: Self Publishing Challenges & Opportunities
7:15pm - 7:45 pm Open Forum
Presentation: Self-Publishing Challenges & Opportunities
We’ll kickoff our first meeting with a short presentation that will review some of the trends and developments in the self-publishing field, as well as the options for getting your book or work published.
We are interested in learning what self-publishing issues or questions you have so we’ll use the time after the presentation to talk about specific topics you’d like the group to address in the future. If you know of someone who might be interested in conducting a short presentation at a future meeting on something relating to self-publishing, please send them our way.
